However, taxis are quite expensive, especially when compared to other methods of transportation. Taxis are easily accessible at the terminal exits. A taxi to the city center from the airport takes about 30 minutes.

Bus

Another transportation alternative to get to the city center from the airport is by bus. Buses are an important means of public transportation in Odessa. Bus route 117 provides transportation to the city center from Odessa International Airport. The bus provides direct transportation from the airport to the city center. The total trip to the city by bus takes about 1 hour. Buses are a comfortable and affordable transportation method, especially if you’re not in a rush and don’t have excess luggage.

Trolleybus

Taking the trolleybus to the city center from the airport is another transportation alternative. Trolleybus #14 departs from near the bus stop by the terminal complex and provides transportation to the main train station in the city. The trolleybus operates between the airport and the railway station, making various stops along the way. During the week the trolleybus operates from 6:47 am to 7:07 pm. Trolleybuses run every 16-17 minutes during rush hour and every 40 minutes during regular hours. The trolleybus from the airport to the train station takes about 36 minutes. Trolleybuses are equipped with electronic signs that display the vehicles full timetable and stops.
